Thanksgiving Camps

Who: Nub's Nob Alpine Racing

Where: Loveland Ski Area, Colorado

Cost: $2,250

Includes: 6 days on hill for 6 hours each day, slalom and giant slalom gate training and free skilling drills.  Athletes train in small groups of 4 to 5 athletes with a maximum of 20 athletes in camp. Lodging, food, ground transport from Denver International. Airfare not included.

In-Season Supplemental Training

Racers can supplement in-season high school practices with additional training beyond Thanksgiving and Christmas camps.

 

NASA at Crystal Mountain

Northwestern Alpine Ski Academy’s CUSSA “Partial Training Option.” This option will provide Christmas holiday training (9 days scheduled), select weekend training (3 weekends 6 days of training) and 1 midweek training day per week through the winter, adding 23-25 training days. $550. Supplemental training can be a good option for racers seeking additional skills development. In Northern Michigan, three long-standing programs offer various ways to train before and during ski race season. Note: Great North Alpine does not require racers to use outside sources for skills development, nor does GNA specifically endorse any one program.
